The following guide explains how to provision and re-provision iOS and Android devices on the FOUR Platform. Provisioning the FOUR applications associates your device with your FOUR account, providing access to the appropriate forms, workflows, content and any other information in the applications installed.

Downloading FOUR apps

  • Install the app: Navigate to the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) on your device. Search for the FOUR application you need (e.g., "FOUR FORMS") and press Install.
  • Open the app: Open the application directly from the store or via the shortcut created on your device's home screen.

Provisioning a device (production)

  • Sign in: Log into the app using your standard web account credentials or your provided provisioning credentials.
  • Select a label: At the provisioning screen, enter a preferred "device label". This is the name that will be associated with your device in the system.
  • Enter PIN: Proceed to the PIN screen and log into the application using your assigned user PIN.

Provisioning to a user acceptance testing (UAT) account

If you need to access the testing system (UAT) instead of the live production environment, follow these steps before logging in:

  • Open the environment menu: Open the freshly installed application and, while on the login screen, hold two fingers down on the FOUR logo for roughly 10 seconds (both Android and iOS).
  • Select UAT: A "Pick Environment" menu will appear. Select UAT.
  • Provision: Proceed with the standard steps: sign in with credentials, provide a device label, and log in with your PIN.

Re-provisioning a device

If you want to change the name of your device, reassign it to a different account, or swap to UAT from production, you must clear the app data to trigger the provisioning sequence again.

  • Android: Go to device Settings > Apps > FOUR FORMS > Storage, and tap Clear data.
  • iOS: Go to your device's native Settings menu, scroll down to select FOUR FORMS, and toggle Clear Data on.
  • Restart: Reopen the application and follow the provisioning steps outlined above.
